BEHIND THE SCENES AT SAB
@SAB_NYC
This incredible short film captures what seven female students experienced as part of SAB’s Student Choreography Program made possible through the generous support of the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation. We couldn’t be more grateful. This inspiring program helps cultivate and champion the next generation of female voices and creators in dance.
We’re thrilled to announce that the following current and former NYCB dancers—Sara Adams, Gilbert Bolden III, Emma Von Enck, Laine Habony, Lauren King, Isabella LaFreniere, and Daniel Ulbricht—will teach classes as part of our new One-Week Experience this August. This exciting program will be offered in two sessions: August 3–7 and August 10–14.
Advanced and professional-level dancers ages 18–23 are encouraged to apply while space remains. The application is free! Visit the link in bio for more.

New this year, the School of American Ballet is opening its doors to dancers ages 12–18 for immersive, one-day workshops. Train with SAB’s distinguished faculty and guest teachers from New York City Ballet—including principal dancers Isabella LaFreniere and Daniel Ulbricht and soloist Sara Adams and at our state-of-the-art studios at Lincoln Center.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from SAB — dance with joy and a little Irish luck!
Happy International Women’s Day!
Today—and all month—we celebrate the women of ballet: dancers, students, choreographers, and teachers who inspire and shape this art form every day.
We are beyond proud to celebrate the 51 incredible SAB students who performed alongside New York City Ballet in the breathtaking production of The Sleeping Beauty at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Bravo to each and every one of them! ✨🩰
