Happy Friday! To close out the week, we`re sharing another snapshot from the #SABArchive featuring our beloved, historic faculty member Stanley Williams. Mr. Williams was a renowned teacher and, during his time on the SAB faculty, many well-known ballet dancers were known to take his classes. Can you imagine being in your morning technique class with luminaries like Mikhail Baryshnikov standing next to you at the barre? Pretty special!

Join us for the School`s most glamorous night - our annual SAB Ball on February 2! This black-tie evening features a one-time-only performance by our extraordinary students, along with alumni and NYCB principal dancers Tiler Peck and Roman Meija, onstage at the David H. Koch Theater, followed by a celebratory gala dinner. This year, the SAB Ball will honor the Fendi Family and the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation.

Earlier this month, two of our advanced SAB students participated in a special Storytime Brunch VIP event at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship location on Fifth Avenue. Our students delighted guests by performing the Sugarplum Fairy variation from George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and reading Tiffany’s children’s book, The Winter Carousel. For a bit of extra sparkle, they each wore earrings and bracelets from the Tiffany HardWear and Tiffany Knot collections.
We are so pleased that SAB could be a part of this magical afternoon!
