This weekend, SAB dancers bring "Scherzo à la Russe" to the Workshop stage, a piece they have been rehearsing with strong dedication and intentional focus.

This work bridges Balanchine's style with Russian folk dance. Light-hearted choreography is met with impeccable poise, refined technique, and precise clarity. Few tickets remain to see this piece performed at the 2026 Workshop performances - purchase your tickets now at the link in bio!

Workshop provides the opportunity for our dancers to bridge the gap between class and performance.

In rehearsals for "Who Cares?", students are challenged not only by the stamina and technical skill of the piece, but by the choreography's call for spectacular artistry. Ease, charm, wit, and romance are all expressed through the movement, encouraging our students to approach the work not just as dancers, but as artists!

George Balanchine's "Who Cares?" is an exciting piece performing at the 2026 Workshop performances on June 6 and the Workshop Benefit on June 8 at the Peter J. Sharp Theater. Tickets can be purchased at the link in bio!
