Summer Audition Pre-registration
Pre-registration is required for all NYC audition dates and optional for National Audition Tour dates. All applicants are strongly encouraged to pre-register. The benefits of pre-registration include a discounted audition fee, expedited audition results, and priority check-in before walk-in applicants at the audition. Those who pre-register but later decide not to attend the audition will not be penalized in any way (but will forfeit the pre-paid audition fee).
Audition Fees
In-Person Audition Fees (Non Video Applicants)
$43 for pre-registered applicants
$50 for walk-in applicants
In order to complete the pre-registration form, applicants must submit the application fee of $43 dollars via credit card as the last step of the form. This fee is not refundable. Applicants who do not wish to pre-pay the audition fee may register on-site at any of our National Audition Tour locations outside of NYC. The on-site fee is $50 and can be paid via cash or credit card. All auditions at our headquarters in NYC require pre-registration and pre-payment.
Expedited Results Notification
Pre-registered applicants will receive their audition results within a week of their audition date. It may take up to three weeks for on-site/walk-in applicants to receive their audition results.
Pre-registration Information
(PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING THE FORM)
Families must create an online account to complete the application form. You may use the same account to pre-register multiple siblings. Families who have applied in the past 5 years may login with previously-created credentials to complete the form. You can use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset your password if necessary.
Payment of the audition fee is required at the time of pre-registration. The last step of the form will collect billing and credit card information for the $43 audition fee for pre-registered applicants. Please have this information available before beginning the form.
You should complete only ONE pre-registration form even if you want to switch audition locations or later decide to audition by video. Please do not attempt to register for auditions in more than one city. If you complete a pre-registration form for one city and later decide that you need to audition in a different city, please contact our audition manager by sending e-mail to auditions@sab.org.
You should complete only ONE pre-registration form even if you are applying for more than one program. You must indicate on the form which program(s) you are applying for. Eleven and twelve year olds who meet the age requirements may apply for both the Summer Course and the New York Junior Session. SAB will confirm the programs to which you are applying when you check in at your audition. If there is a discrepancy, you will have the chance to make changes at that time. Please do not contact us before the audition to change the programs to which you are applying.
Completing a pre-registration form does not obligate you to attend the audition. While SAB hopes that all who preregister will be able to audition, we understand that plans may change. You will not be penalized in any future auditions with SAB for not attending an audition for which you preregistered. Please remember, however, that pre-paid audition fees are non-refundable.
