We just wrapped up our annual Pointe Shoe Fund campaign and the release of a fresh new batch of pointe shoe hack videos from our advanced students. This digital series highlights the creative and sometimes humorous ways ballet students prepare their Freed of London pointe shoes for daily classes and rehearsals. From breaking the shoes to sewing on the ribbons and elastic, prepping their feet to ingenious tricks for customizing the shoes, each student provides a totally unique overview of their personal pointe shoe prep process. Unlike last year’s remote series, this year’s pointe shoe hacks were filmed on-site at our SAB studios and offer all kinds of new and different tips and tricks students, professionals and ballet-lovers of all kinds are sure to enjoy.
