Alumni Spotlight: Patricia Delgado
With our National Audition tour dates now available, and auditions for the 2025 Summer Course on the horizon, we felt it was only fitting that our November SAB Alumni Spotlight shines on former Miami City Ballet principal dancer, choreographer, and Broadway producer Patricia Delgado, who spent two summers training at SAB.
After encouragement from SAB alumnus and former NYCB star Edward Villella, who was the founding artistic director of the Miami City Ballet Company and school, Ms. Delgado auditioned for the SAB Summer Course. Watch as she shares how coming to New York for those summers not only solidified her love for the Balanchine aesthetic but also opened her perspective to a broader world of dance and artistry. Hear how that experience helped her understand her place in the lineage of Balanchine’s legacy and continues to inform her work in ballet, film, and Broadway to this day!
