2025 National Audition Tour by the Numbers
Another incredible audition season has come to a close for SAB! We were blown away by the talent and dedication of every student who auditioned for our 2025 Summer Programs, whether they joined us on our nationwide tour or here in New York City. To recap, take a look at some stats that defined our 2025 Summer Auditions…
Throughout the month of January, 13 faculty members taught a whopping 90 audition classes across the United States.
SAB traveled to 16 cities from coast to coast, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Miami and Seattle to name a few!
We held 11 audition dates in our home city of New York at our Lincoln Center studios.
In total, over 2,000 students auditioned for SAB’s summer programs.
Plus, our faculty reviewed roughly 3,000 minutes of video auditions!
We saw students from all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii.
Students represented an impressive 34 countries outside the US, including Canada, Mexico, Poland, Panama, Singapore, Australia and even the remote Réunion Island!
We distributed 4,708 safety pins for pinning on audition numbers.
Pianists played roughly 3,600 minutes of accompaniment for each audition class.
And auditioning students performed a plethora of plies, tons of tendus, and dozens of developpés with an immeasurable amount of dedication and enthusiasm!
