Dozens of advanced students participate each year in the School’s Workshop, which culminates in three* spring performances at Lincoln Center’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater with costumes, lights, and live orchestra.
The ballets presented include standards from the Balanchine repertory, Bournonville excerpts, Jerome Robbins ballets, and other classical masterworks. The School also commissions new choreography made especially on SAB students.
*The third performance is a benefit performance on Monday, June 1.
