SAB's National Audition Tour provides a choice of almost two dozen Summer Course audition locations around the country every January and February. The tour schedule for the coming year is announced each October.

• Applicants may audition in New York at SAB on a date earlier or later than the one scheduled for a city on the National Audition Tour. Call (212) 769-6600 or send e-mail for an appointment to be auditioned.

• An application fee of $25 is due at the time of audition registration. Payment may be made in the form of cash, check, or money order.
  
  
• All students should bring a copy of his or her birth certificate to the audition.

• As a general rule, recommendation letters, photographs and resumes are not accepted at auditions.

• Girls must bring pointe shoes to the audition.

• Applicants should arrive at the audition location one hour in advance of the time scheduled for their age group in order to register.

• Observation of auditions is not permitted.
