Auditions for Foreign Students
International students (those outside the continental United States) may audition by submitting a DVD or VHS tape in American standard format (NTSC) in lieu of an in-person audition. The tape or DVD should portray the student in practice clothes (girls in leotard and tights; boys in T-shirt and tights) in an abbreviated class with the full range of barre and center exercise and, for girls, pointe work. It must be accompanied by a résumé including the student's name and address, birth date, height, weight and ballet background. Audition packages for international students interested in attending the 2008 Summer Course should be submitted between December 1, 2007, and March 1, 2008. International students may also audition in person at any city on the National Audition Tour or at SAB. The application fee for videotape or DVD submissions—which is payable by international money order—is $25.Notification
Accepted students will be notified by phone or e-mail within three days of their audition date. A letter will be mailed one week after the audition date to all other students, including those who are placed on the waiting list. Please allow one additional week for mail delivery.Tuition and Fees
