Visiting Us

The School of American Ballet is located in the Samuel B. and David Rose Building at the northwest corner of the Lincoln Center campus. (165 W. 65th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway). The building lobby is located one story above street level on a plaza which also contains primary entrances to the Walter Reade Theater. The plaza may be accessed from an elevator or escalator located on the north side of W. 65th Street just east of Amsterdam.

Take the #1 local train to 66th Street Station.
 
The M5, M7, M10, M11, M66 and M104 bus lines all stop within one block of Lincoln Center.

  From points south of Lincoln Center (Lincoln Tunnel, 42nd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues):
Go west to 10th Avenue. Turn right and go straight (north) to 65th Street.
Turn right on 65th Street, entrance to Rose Building parking garage is on the left.


From points north of Lincoln Center (Via Henry Hudson Parkway):
Going south on Henry Hudson Parkway, take exit for 79th Street (Boat Basin), then take the circle to 79th Street. Turn right on West End Avenue. Go South getting into the left-turn lane. Turn left on 65th Street. Cross Amsterdam continuing on 65th Street; entrance to Rose Building parking garage is on the left.
