Students from the School of American Ballet will perform at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., June 6-8, 2008, as part of Protégés II, which the Kennedy Center describes as “a biennial showcase of the world’s greatest ballet academies.” Students of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Paris Opera Ballet School and Royal Ballet School will also appear in a mixed repertory of classic works performed in each academy’s distinctive training style. Tickets go on sale to the public on April 11, 2008.
