Rehearsals are well underway for this year`s Student Choreography Workshop which gives our advanced students the opportunity to flex their choreographic skills and create original ballets on their peers. From selecting the music to casting their dancers, workshopping ideas, and leading rehearsals - our students glean the experience of not only choreographing an original piece but being choreographed on as well. The program culminates in a studio showing on October 22 and we simply cannot wait to see what our student choreographers have cooked up this year!

Tomorrow: NYCB`s Fall Fashion Gala will feature the Company premiere of SAB alumna Gianna Reisen`s SIGNS - a ballet she created for the students of the School of American Ballet for our 2022 Workshop Performances. Olivia Bell was one of the original leads as a student and tonight will reprise her role in the ballet, this time as a company member.
